Our Story
Sacred Bean was born from a simple idea: that a morning coffee can be a moment of intention. We source two ways — a single-origin lot from family farms in Loja, Ecuador, and a Midwest blend roasted minutes away in Viroqua, Wisconsin.
We open four days a week, for four hours, in the front of Cavelier on Jackson Street. That's it. The window is small so the craft stays focused.

Sustainability
Every bean we serve is certified organic and grown under native canopy — protecting birds, soil, and the people who farm it.
Ecuador lot: we know the farmer, the harvest date, and the wage paid. Wisconsin lot: roasted 40 minutes down the road in Viroqua.
Cups, lids, sleeves, straws, and bags — all home-compostable within 90 days. Zero plastic in our footprint.
Each drink is pulled by a human, for a human. We don't chase speed — we chase presence.
